The team
The ASP team exists of two student counselors and 3 or 4 students from HAN, ArtEZ and HVHL. Now and then there are interns and volunteers who complement the team. Are you interested in a position at ASP, please let us know! We are always looking for great team members who can help us.

Hi! My name is Iris and I have been a student counselor/spiritual counselor at Arnhem Student Point since 2019. Together with Mariëlla I coordinate and organize the activities, programs and workshops. I am also available for individual conversations about your life. You can always contact me if you want to talk about life questions, if your head or heart is full, if you are looking for direction in your life and identity or if you just don't know what to do anymore. You can also contact me if you just want to talk to someone. Nothing human is strange to me.
Through ASP I am also part of the spiritual/religious network in Arnhem. So if you have any questions about this or are looking for your place, please contact us!
In addition to my work at ASP, I enjoy being with my family and reading, walking and cooking. I also really love nature, being creative and spending time with friends.

Mariëlla Feenstra
Hi! My name is Mariëlla and I am a student counselor/spiritual counselor at Arnhem Student Point. This means that I organize the programs, activities and workshops together with Iris and that I am available for individual conversations. These can be about anything: if you feel stuck, are looking for direction in your life, or have been affected by a loss; you can find me for big and small things going on in your life. Besides my work as a counselor, I like to be creative in my free time, I get happy from dancing, (making) music, reading, drawing, dogs, the sun and sports. See you soon at ASP!

Hi hi everyone, my name is Leilah, and I am from the Caribbean island of St. Maarten. I am thrilled to join the ASP team as a volunteer! Currently, I am a first year student at HAN University of Applied Sciences, studying International Social Work. In my free time I enjoy the art of crocheting and reading. 🙂

Hi everyone, I am Jitish 28 years old from South Africa and a Masters student at HAN studying to become an Automotive Engineer. My aim is to help others realize their true strength and potential. It is why ASP appealed to me so much, the sense of community and great conversations always leave a lasting impression. The purpose of ASP is to create a safe space and help others in ways that go to the core of the problem, but are also fun and comforting at the same time. Hello! I'm Abdul, a 24-year-old originally from Yemen. I am currently studying a Master’s in Engineering Systems at HAN. Since joining ASP, I've experienced a significant positive shift in my life, particularly in terms of mental well-being. I've always been curious about personal growth and understanding others, and ASP has greatly supported me in this journey. That's why joining the ASP team felt like a natural choice. I also like the idea of being with people from different backgrounds. I'm really excited to meet you guys and then definitely we will create memorable experiences together.

Hi! I am a new intern at ASP. I’m very happy to become a part of the community and get to know you all. Currently I'm studying Humanistic Studies in Utrecht, for which I'm doing this internship in counseling. In my free time I like to read, enjoy (a walk in) nature and meet up with friends.
